The role

We're looking for another Data Scientist to join our talented Data Science team. The successful applicant will be working on high profile projects across our portfolio of enterprise clients, and will have myriad opportunities to apply and develop their skills.

As a service business, our success relies on being able to provide exceptional data solutions and an outstanding customer experience to our clients. That means we need someone that can demonstrate the right behaviours, as well as the right skills and experience.

Skills and Experience Levels

We're looking for applicants that have from two to five years' experience within data science or relevant analytics roles.

The successful applicant will have significant experience in the following:

  • Predictive modelling, linear / logistic regression, customer segmentation, decision trees, clustering, boosted algorithms, text analytics, speech analytics, time series
  • Developing analytical solutions to support business initiatives on topics such as customer retention, marketing campaign targeting, customer next best action, customer experience, customer acquisition, demand / channel management, customer profitability /value
  • Constructing analytical datasets by writing and applying programming code in languages such as SQL (preferred), R, Python or SAS
  • Building reports and dashboards containing impactful insights and data visualisations
  • Using analytical tools such as R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SAS, Rapid Miner, SPSS, Portrait/ Spectrum Miner, and advanced Excel skills
  • Creating and delivering high quality presentations for clients in PowerPoint

Beyond technical skills, we're also looking for someone with excellent communication skills. You must be able to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a compelling, engaging manner where the key messages are clearly understood by the audience.

From an education perspective, we typically look for a first or upper-second class undergraduate degree in a numeric discipline.
